My husband is a bit of a rib connoisseur. He loves them, but only if they're really good. Honestly, I've never quite perfected the art of barbecue ribs.Until now.
It's an amazing feeling when you put food on the table that your family devours. My entire family, even my picky 5 year old, ate every last bit of these ribs. They're incredibly easy to make, require very, very little prep work, and the results are so delicious you'll want to start putting these in your regular meal rotation. Even on a weeknight!
I've found recipes online for slow cooker barbecue ribs before, but they never measured up. I wound up with watery sauce and just plain yucky ribs.
So, we would eat it and I would vow never, never make them again. Until the next time…. It's actually been quite a bit of time since I last attempted to make them. I decided to try it my own way, and what resulted was so good I will definitely make them again soon!!
I love that you can make these year round, as well. You aren't tied down to just making them during the summer. You can make them in the dead of winter and still have a delicious meal, reminiscent of summer days gone by.
In the summer, you could finish them on the grill instead of using the oven and heating up your house! I honestly don't think I will ever make ribs a different way, ever again. These were absolutely perfect!

You can also finish these on the grill. Just heat up your grill and throw them on directly or place them on a sheet pan and put the sheet pan on the grill. Totally up to you, they'll turn out the same either way!
